How does Research Liaison Office work? – presentation of the PolSCA Office during the ‘Navigating Brussels’ course

On 3-5 June 2019, the second edition of the international course ‘Navigating Brussels. How can the EU help you to develop your scientific career?’ took place in Brussels. The course was addressed to European PhD students and young scientists. During the first day, within the session entitled ‘Tasks and activities of the Science Liaison Office’, Justyna Kramarczyk, PhD, specialist of PolSCA, presented main tasks, goals and activities of the Polish Science Contact Agency in Brussels.

This year, participants had the opportunity to attend several lectures on the possibilities of applying under European programs, to take part in workshops demonstrating how to prepare a successful application or to listen to representatives of European institutions, organizations and universities.

The course was organized by Euroleague for Life Sciences (ELLS) Research Support Office, which aims to exchange experiences between ELLS partner universities and to undertake joint research activities. The network brings together seven European universities such as the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna; Czech University of Life Sciences Prague; University of Copenhagen Faculty of Science; Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences; University of Hohenheim; Wageningen University and Research and the Warsaw University of Life Sciences – SGGW.
