SUMMARY:Matchmaking event for cluster 6 of Horizon Europe
DESCRIPTION:As a follow-up activity of the #V4Conference2022 on “Benefits and challenges of participation in co-funded partnerships with a thematic focus on Cluster 6: Food\, Bioeconomy\, Natural Resources\, Agriculture and Environment”\, being organized on June 13\, V4 liaison offices – Polish Science Contact Agency (PolSCA)\, National Research\, Development and Innovation Office of Hungary (NRDIO)\, Slovak Liaison Office for Research and Development (SLORD)\, and Czech Liaison Office for Education and Research (CZELO) – cordially invite you to a matchmaking event assisting researchers\, innovators\, public actors\, NGOs etc. in finding the right match for upcoming funding opportunities in Horizon Europe. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe event aims to help participants to build international R&I networks within the thematic scope of the following areas of cluster 6: \n\n\n\nBiodiversity and ecosystem services and related Biodiversa+ partnershipCircular economy and bioeconomy sectors and related Circular Bio-Based Europe JUClean environment and zero pollutionLand\, ocean and water for climate action and related Sustainable Blue Economy and Water4All partnerships\n\n\n\nThis online networking event will take place on Wednesday\, 29th June 2022 between 13.00 – 16.30. It will provide a brief overview of upcoming funding opportunities under Cluster 6 of Horizon Europe\, yet its main aim is to facilitate pitching sessions for all those interested to establish new collaborative links. To enable direct contact between all the participants the sessions will be followed by speed dating activity on Wonder.me as an integral part of the event. \n\n\n\nWe invite you to become an active participant with a pitch presentation showcasing the capabilities of your organization\, field of expertise and your ideas for potential collaboration within the framework of selected areas of the cluster 6 and thematically related EU partnerships of the Horizon Europe. At the same time\, it is also possible to participate as an observer by listening to your peers and be inspired by their presentations. We will welcome pitching and observing participants from all Member states\, and not only from the Visegrad countries!  \n\n\n\nIn case you are interested in participating in our event\, please register HERE and indicate in which thematic areas you are particularly interested in. The registration remains open until Friday\, June 24. \n\n\n\nEveryone wishing to actively participate and provide a flash presentation will be contacted by organisers\, provided with some instructions\, and a presentation’s template to use during 3-minute pitching. Please however note\, that due to a limited number of slots available for pitch presentations and in the case of the oversubscription\, we reserve the right to confirm the pitching session only to selected registrants. Confirmation will be sent to the pitching participants on the rolling bases (no later than June 24). \n\n\n\nThe draft event agenda is available HERE.
