Join us in Brussels for the conference “Transnational Science Cooperation: Fostering Collaborative Research in Europe and Poland”, <\/strong>taking place on 23\u201324 June 2025.
Organised under the programme of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union, this two-day conference will bring together researchers, policy-makers, and institutional leaders to explore the evolving landscape of international science cooperation \u2014 with particular emphasis on Poland\u2019s growing role within the European research ecosystem. Monday, 23 June 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The conference will open with a high-level policy panel dedicated to aligning EU and national strategies in order to build a more cohesive and resilient European Research Area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will be followed by a discussion spotlighting Poland\u2019s emergence as a hub for international researchers. In the afternoon, the focus will shift to brain circulation and talent mobility in global science, exploring both the challenges and opportunities in attracting and retaining research excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day will conclude with a Polish networking reception \u2014 an evening gathering designed to foster informal exchange and cross-sector dialogue within the R&I community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuesday, 24 June 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Tuesday, the conference will focus on mechanisms that underpin international research collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day will begin with a session on the strategic role of grant agencies in advancing global scientific engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This will be followed by two thematic discussions: one on shaping a truly innovative European Research Area, and another on empowering R&I cooperation through rethinking research management in the new ERA. The conference will close with a keynote address reflecting on the effectiveness of national strategies in enabling successful international scientific cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
