On 3-5 June 2019, the second edition of the international course \u2018Navigating Brussels. How can the EU help you to develop your scientific career?<\/em>\u2019 took place in Brussels. <\/strong>The course was addressed to European PhD students and young scientists. During the first day, within the session entitled \u2018Tasks and activities of the Science Liaison Office\u2019, Justyna Kramarczyk, PhD, specialist of PolSCA, presented main tasks, goals and activities of the Polish Science Contact Agency in Brussels.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

This year, participants had the opportunity to\nattend several lectures on the possibilities of applying under European\nprograms, to take part in workshops demonstrating how to prepare a successful\napplication or to listen to representatives of European institutions,\norganizations and universities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The course was organized by Euroleague for Life Sciences (ELLS) Research\nSupport Office<\/a>,\nwhich aims to exchange experiences between ELLS partner universities and to\nundertake joint research activities. The network brings together seven European\nuniversities such as the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences,\nVienna; Czech University of Life Sciences Prague; University of Copenhagen\nFaculty of Science; Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences; University of\nHohenheim; Wageningen University and Research and the Warsaw University of Life\nSciences – SGGW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
