Ma\u0142gorzata Mol\u0119da-Zdziech with dr habil. Monika Kwoka, from the Academy of Young Scholars of the Polish Academy of Sciences<\/strong>, participated in the Second World Forum of Polish Science Beyond the Borders, organized by the Association &#8220;Polish Community&#8221;, headed by Mr. Dariusz Piotr Bonis\u0142awski, president of the Association &#8220;Polish Community&#8221;. in cooperation with the Polish Polonia Council and the Senate of the Republic of Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>The theme\nof the Forum was: <em>Science, innovation,\ncompetitiveness, or how to be a researcher in a foreign country?<\/em> The event\nwas attended by 80 scientists from Europe, the United States and Australia. The\ninterdisciplinary meeting at the Pu\u0142tusk castle was an opportunity to listen to\ninteresting papers, discussions and make contacts. Guests were able to get\nacquainted with the scientific programs of the National Agency for Academic\nExchange (NAWA), the Foundation for Polish Science. Dr Gra\u017cyna \u017bebrowska,\ndirector of the Office of the Department of International Cooperation with the\nMinistry of Science and Higher Education, spoke about the activities carried\nout under scientific diplomacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The perfect organization of the event, good atmosphere, favorable exchange of views and opinions should be underlined. This is undoubtedly due to the involvement of the Organizing Committee of the event composed of: prof. dr hab. Mariusz Fr\u0105czek, dr Agnieszka Niemczynowicz and prof. zw. dr hab.
