On 19th November 2019, the 5th Polish-French Science and Innovation Forum was held at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics. The main organizers of the event were: the Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the Embassy of France in Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The official opening of the Forum was done by: Marek Rocki<\/strong> – Rector of the SGH Warsaw School of Economics, dr hab. Sebastian Skuza<\/strong>, deputy minister from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. The French side was represented by: Mr. Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Billet<\/strong> – French Ambassador to Poland and Dr. Jacques Maddaluno<\/strong> – Director of the Institute of Chemistry, Center national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n Then, Dr. Robert Gardette<\/strong> – researcher at the Center national de la recherche scientifique (CNRS), expert at the Minist\u00e8re de l’Enseignement sup\u00e9rieur, de la Recherche et de l’Innovation (MESRI) evaluated the PHC Polonium program, presenting quantitative results of participation for the years 2005 – 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n During the event, the Polish Science Contact Agency was represented by the director, dr hab. Ma\u0142gorzata Mol\u0119da-Zdziech<\/strong>, who moderated the first panel discussion on the role of international research centers in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The panel was attended by:<\/p>\n\n\n\n The second part of the event was devoted to the presentation of selected start-up case studies, originating from scientific projects, both French and Polish.<\/p>\n\n\n\n An important element of the Forum was networking, during which participants establish contacts for future cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
