{"id":8065,"date":"2021-08-03T16:04:16","date_gmt":"2021-08-03T16:04:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/polsca.pan.pl\/en\/?p=8065"},"modified":"2021-08-03T16:04:19","modified_gmt":"2021-08-03T16:04:19","slug":"another-success-of-polish-researchers-muscle-derived-exophers-support-the-reproductive-condition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/polsca.pan.pl\/en\/another-success-of-polish-researchers-muscle-derived-exophers-support-the-reproductive-condition\/","title":{"rendered":"Another success of Polish researchers: muscle-derived exophers support the reproductive condition"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap has-black-color has-light-green-cyan-background-color has-text-color has-background\">Scientists from the <strong>International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology<\/strong> with colleagues from the <strong>International Institute of Molecular Mechanisms and Machines (IMol) PAS<\/strong> and the <strong>Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics PAS<\/strong>, have discovered that worm muscle cells can produce exophers &#8211; vesicles that remove damaged proteins from the outside of the cell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Scientists from the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology with colleagues from the International Institute of Molecular Mechanisms and Machines (IMol) PAS and the Institute of Biochemistry and Biophysics of the PAS, have discovered that worm muscle cells can produce exophers &#8211; vesicles that remove damaged proteins from the outside of the cell. Surprisingly, researchers found that the development of embryos in the uterus triggers the formation of exopher in muscle tissue. Consequently, the offspring of mothers with a large number of muscle exophers grows faster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These breakthroughs are featured on the cover of the August issue of <strong>&#8220;EMBO reports&#8221;<\/strong> and in the News &amp; Views section.
