DESCRIPTION:W dniach 27-29 marca 2019 r. w Brukseli odbędzie się wiosenna edycja szkolenia „V4” Training\, które Biuro PolSCA współorganizuje wraz z Czech Liaison Office for R&D (CZELO)\, Slovak Liaison Office for Research and Development (SLORD) oraz Stałym Przedstawicielstwem Węgier przy UE. \nJest ono przeznaczone dla pracowników szkół wyższych oraz instytutów naukowo-badawczych\, którzy na co dzień zajmują się zarządzaniem projektami europejskimi\, przede wszystkim w ramach  Horyzontu 2020.  Językiem  szkolenia  jest  angielski\, a tematyka koncentruje się zarówno wokół najważniejszych  zagadnień  dotyczących  8.  programu  ramowego\, jak i kolejnego\, który będzie funkcjonował pod nazwą Horyzont Europa. Wykłady oraz warsztaty prowadzone są przez specjalistów m.in. z Komisji Europejskiej oraz europejskich instytucji działających w Brukseli na rzecz badań naukowych i innowacji. \nSzczegółowy program szkolenia znajdą Państwo tutaj.

SUMMARY:Circular economy in Visegrad Group (V4) countries  – current state and challenges
DESCRIPTION:A circular economy is an industrial system that replaces the ‘end-of-life’ concept with restoration\, shifts towards the use of renewable energy\, eliminates the use of toxic chemicals\, which impair reuse\, and aims for the elimination of waste through the superior design of materials\, products\, systems\, and\, within this\, business models. \nThe elements of circular economy include: \n\nwaste management\,\na strict differentiation between consumable and durable components of a product\, replacement the concept of a consumer with that of a user\,\nenergy efficiency.\n\nA circular economy requires improvements in material selection and product design (circular design)\, innovative business models\, increase in general awareness and creation the skill base. \nA transition towards circular economy will therefore generate new jobs\, increase productivity and will boost R&I activities. The latter may be treated as a circular economy enablers. \nThe European Commission adopted an ambitious Circular Economy Package that establishes a concrete and ambitious programme of action\, with measures covering the whole cycle: from production and consumption to waste management and the market for secondary raw materials. \nFor all V4 countries implementation of a circular economy is a chance for a faster economic growth respecting sustainability principle and taking into account social needs.
