Horizon Europe Navigators MeetUp: Financial Support on the Path to Horizon Europe

The upcoming meeting of research managers and administrators from the institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAS), gathered under the HE Navigators network, will focus on national mechanisms supporting applications for and participation in European projects, particularly Horizon Europe.

In response to the growing need to support research institutions in effectively applying to the Horizon Europe Framework Programme, the event aims to present the available national financial support instruments dedicated to research units preparing to participate in European projects.

Three key programmes will be in the spotlight:

“Grants for Eurogrants” (PARP) – supporting the preparation of project proposals for EU programmes;

“Grants for Grants” (Ministry of Science and Higher Education) – promoting high-quality applications submitted to Horizon Europe;

“Co-funded International Projects” (Ministry of Science and Higher Education) – enabling coverage of own contributions for institutions participating in European projects.

Participants will learn about the rules and scope of support, how to apply effectively for national funds, and hear experiences from institutions that have already benefited from these mechanisms. The goal is not only to provide information, but also to encourage active use of available tools that support the internationalisation of research and increase Poland’s participation in Horizon Europe.

The meeting is intended for representatives of PAS institutes, especially those working in project and grant offices. It will have an informative and practical character.
