Twinning Consultations for Institutes of the Polish Academy of Sciences

The PolSCA PAN Office in Brussels invites representatives from the Polish Academy of Sciences community to a training session and individual consultations regarding Twinning, one of the research funding instruments dedicated to widening countries under the Horizon Europe framework program.

This event will provide an opportunity for direct interaction with Dr. Karina Barantseva, an expert from the National Contact Point at the National Center for Research and Development (NCBR-KPK). She will discuss the different sections of the Twinning proposal and provide essential information about other financing opportunities within the Widening scheme.

Another guest speaker will be Ms. Anna Armuła, the Horizontal Contact Point Manager for Southeast Poland, who will present the principles of creating the Twinning project budget (lump sum).

In the second part of the meeting, participants will have the chance for individual consultations with the experts from KPK and HPK, as well as with members of the PolSCA Team who are available to assist in:

• Finding international partners.
• Organizing consultations with current Twinning beneficiaries in related topics.
• Incorporating administrative staff development issues into the Twinning proposal.

The meeting is open to science managers and researchers from PAN Institutes across Poland.
