Annual conference by V4 R&I Liaison Offices in Brussels

Mark your calendar today and join us on 17 June 2025 in Brussels for a high-level conference exploring how research and innovation can shape a socially just and inclusive green transition. Organised by the V4 R&I liaison offices in synergy with the candidate European Partnership for Social Transformations and Resilience (STR), the event will bring together experts, policymakers, and stakeholders to discuss how R&I can support societal resilience, reduce inequalities, and ensure that no one is left behind in the shift toward climate neutrality.
The transition to a climate-neutral and socially resilient Europe requires more than technological innovation—it demands a deep understanding of societal dynamics and inclusive policy solutions. This conference builds on the priorities of Horizon Europe, particularly the candidate European Partnership for Social Transformations and Resilience (STR), to explore how research and innovation can support fair, equitable change. By highlighting the role of social sciences and humanities in addressing structural challenges, the event aims to foster dialogue between researchers, policymakers, and stakeholders on shaping effective, people-centred responses to Europe’s most pressing transformations.
