V4 Training for Research Project Managers – we are now accepting applications for the next edition (spring 2026)!

We invite you to participate in the next edition of our flagship training course, ‘V4 Training for Research Project Managers’, which will take place in Brussels on 9, 10 and 11 March 2026. As in previous years, we are co-organising it in cooperation with the Czech Liaison Office for Education and Science (CZELO), the National Research, Development and Innovation Office in Hungary (NRDIO) and the Slovak Liaison Office for Research and Development (SLORD).
The training is dedicated to experienced research project managers from scientific institutions, mainly universities, research institutes and centres, who are involved in project management, including fundraising, budgeting and reporting. We focus on international projects under the EU framework programmes for research and innovation (currently Horizon Europe).
The training is not intended for academic staff or individuals working in the business sector. Both the training and recruitment process are conducted in English.
The main objective of the event is to broaden the knowledge and skills of research project managers and raise the profile of their work, which should contribute to increasing Poland’s participation in the Horizon Europe framework programme.
The V4 Training programme includes presentations by representatives of the European Commission, experts from liaison offices and Belgian academic centres. In addition, we encourage participants to actively participate in group discussions and networking meetings, during which they can exchange experiences.
To apply, please complete the form by 19 January 2026. PolSCA representatives will select 7 Polish participants from among the applications received (the total number of places is 35). We plan to announce the results of the selection process by 27 January 2026 by contacting the selected participants directly.
Participation in the ‘V4 Training for Research Project Managers’ course is free of charge, but participants are responsible for their own travel and accommodation costs.
