Outstanding Research Careers conference

November 28, 2023 09:15 12:30

The conference on Outstanding Research Careers will take place on Tuesday, 28 November 2023 in the premises of the Nordic House in Brussels.

This event will be hosted by V4 Research & Innovation in Brussels with the participation of the Young European Universities Network (YERUN).

We are planning a half-day of engaging talks with interesting speakers representing both the European Commission and the community of talented early stage and mid-career researchers.

Our invited researchers will present their research careers and analyse the challenges of today’s research landscape. They will address issues related to mobility, career development, skills and employment. Their experiences are highly relevant to current policies on research careers in Europe both at the national and EU levels.

PolSCA PAS Office in Brussels, as a co-organiser of the event, has invited Prof. Piotr Wcisło of the Nicolaus Copernicus University of Toruń to represent Polish perspective during the event.

We aim to answer questions about how to facilitate the careers of all researchers, and how the challenges researchers in our regions are facing differ from those already well known in the field.

The event will be followed by a networking lunch.
