V4 Training – spring 2023

V4 Training is a training course designed for experienced research managers working in project departments (primarily international: H2020 and Horizon Europe) exclusively at universities, scientific and research institutes (not companies) in departments responsible for acquisition, management and reporting.

The event, the spring edition of which will take place between March 29 and 31, is organized in Brussels by the Polish Science Contact Agency PolSCA together with the Czech Liaison Office for Education and Science (CZELO), the National Research, Development and Innovation Office in Hungary (NRDIO) and the Slovak Liaison Office for Research and Development (SLORD). Its main objective is to expand the knowledge, and at the same time strengthen the relevance of the activities, of the staff of the project departments at the institutes, which in turn will contribute to increasing Polish participation in the Horizon Europe framework program.

The total number of participants from each country of the Visegrad Group and from countries affiliated to IGLO (Informal Group of RTD Liaison Offices) is 35 people, including 7 managers from Poland.

The V4 Training program usually features speeches by representatives of the European Commission, experts from liaison offices or universities. In addition, participants are encouraged to exchange experiences during group work and networking meetings. We will present details of the upcoming edition to the selected participants in February 2023.

The next V4 Training for Research Project Managers (Spring 2023 edition) starts tomorrow!

On 29 March starts the three-day V4 Training for Research Project Managers, which takes place regularly every six months in Brussels. Once again, we have invited 35 participants from each Visegrad Group country and IGLO (Informal Group of RTD Liaison Offices) associated countries, including 7 people from Poland.

On March 9-10, 2023, for the first time in Brussels the Science: Polish Perspectives Meetup was held! SPP Meetup Brussels was a joint initiative of the Polonium Foundation, Polish Science Contact Agency “PolSCA”, the Brussels Office of National Centre of Research and Development – Business & Science Poland, end the Embassy of the Republic of Poland to the Kingdom of Belgium. The organizers were united by the common goal of gathering representatives of the Polish scientific diaspora from the Benelux countries.
