Side-event: Francophone dialogue and integration. Potential of developing multifaceted cooperation

On 10th September 2019 a side-event entitled ‘Francophone dialogue and integration. Potential of developing multifaceted cooperation’ will be held in Warsaw. It will be a part of the Regional and Economic Diplomacy Summit 2019. The Polish Science Contact Agency is going to be represented by its expert, dr Adam Knapik, who will summarize the event in the presentation “Economics, science and innovation – important Francophone synergies”.

The event is a great opportunity to jointly contribute to the assumptions of the idea of promoting francophone in Europe and the world. It is not without reason that we say that French is more than ever a creative language. It is on the basis of the idea of Francophone cooperation that large international projects such as organizations, European institutions, joint initiatives, programs and undertakings are created. It should be expected that the event in Warsaw will have a contribution to the Francophone area that develops opportunities for international cooperation.

Francophone is not only a language because cooperation is noticeable in many dimensions: political, economic, cultural at the regional and global level, bilaterally, multilaterally in Europe, Africa, North America and the Caribbean, the Middle East and Asia and the Pacific.

Nowadays Francophone is an institutional tool, managed mainly by the International Organization of Francophony, which contributes to the visibility of its activities. International initiatives enable knowledge sharing and effective dialogue in the fields of politics, economy, business development, capacity building for innovation, culture, education and youth.
