Meeting for the representatives of the Polish regions in Brussels

Bike sharing revolution! Positive (and negative!) aspects of urban bike systems.

This month PolSCA meeting is about bicycle systems – one of the most dynamically developing means of urban transportation. Seen as an opportunity to minimize traffic in the European agglomerations, bicycles are enthusiastically welcomed by users and remain interesting topic for media. Good practices and new trends in European bike systems will be shared by Adam Michalewicz from Next Bike Poland.

The following topics will be addressed:

  • good practices, new trends, nameley how urban bike systems function in Poland and Europe,
  • the future of urban bikes – opportunities and challenges of urban bike systems development,
  • inclusion – how everybody can profit from urban bike systems.

 


Mission-Oriented Research & Innovation in the European Union

News

The call for feeback on different aspects of future research and innovation missions was published by the European Commission. The results will feed into the preparatory work for the post-2020 EU R&I programme and its implementation.

Study Visit of the representatives of the Scientific Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Paris

On February the 28th and March the 1nd PolSCA hosted dr hab. Macieja Forycki, the director of the Scientific Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Paris  with collborators: Aneta Bassa, Katarzyna Kula, Robert Górski and Ernest Marcinkiewicz. The visit was the opportunity to present activities of both entities and discuss future common projects.

 

 

 

 


The next meeting with representatives of Regional Offices

The next meeting with representatives of Regional Offices will take place on 22nd February at 2:00 pm in the meeting room at Polish Science Contact Agency “PolSCA” PAS (Rue du Trône 98, 1st floor, 1050 Brussels).

The meeting will be attended by Dr. Christian Schnell – Vice President of the Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers of the Energy Sector. This event will be dedicated to innovation.


H2020 Coordinator’s Day on Grant Agreement Preparation

The European Commission will organize on 22nd February 2018 “H2020 Coordinators’ Day on “Grant Agreement Preparation” for coordinators of successful proposals. The purpose of the event is to explain the details on the preparation and signature of grant agreements.

The event will take place in the Charlemagne building in Brussels from 9.30 to 17.00. It is mainly meant for coordinators of proposals who were invited to prepare a grant agreement.
