Integration of SSH and societal/policy impact within Biodiversa+ calls 2023 & 2024

News

On Friday, June 16 the Polish Science Contact Agency PolSCA of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Brussels and the National Science Centre, Poland held an online information session aiming to introduce new calls to be launched by the Biodiversa+ European Partnership under Horizon Europe framework programme in September 2023 and 2024, as well as to highlight some important aspects to be considered by potential applicants.

The meeting was specifically dedicated to the life sciences (LS), and the social sciences and humanities (SSH) research communities in Poland, and took place just a few days after Biodiversa+ 2023 call pre-announcement.

With this event we provided participants with concise information for potential applicants to the Biodiversa+ calls 2023 and 2024, with a special focus on SSH researchers being invited to join consortia and to bring important input in research on biodiversity and ecosystem services. The event addressed also societal and/or policy impact of the proposals as this comprises one of the criteria taken into account in the evaluation process.
