Webinar ‘Science for EU 2030 Biodiversity Strategy’

Polish Science Contact Agency ‘PolSCA’ of the Polish Academy of Sciences is pleased to invite you for the event ‘Science for EU 2030 Biodiversity Strategy’ to be held online on 21st May 2021 at 11:00 AM (CEST).

The main aim of the online seminar will be to bring together a broad range of actors involved in the biodiversity preservation – on both policy level and academia – to review the EU Biodiversity Strategy 2030 in general and to empower research and innovation actions in the field of biological diversity. We aim to create the space for dialogue around EU biodiversity conservation and for strengthening cooperation between decision makers, researchers and practitioners. The participants of the event will be given a chance to collect information on how scientists could benefit from Horizon Europe to provide impactful contribution to biodiversity protection.

The 2nd session will be focused on the forest-related research, and will bring us a balanced overview of funding opportunities and lessons learnt gained from the past and ongoing scientific projects.

The event is opened to everyone interested in biodiversity protection and forest-related R&I actions, so do not hesitate to distribute this invitation further. Only registered participants will be provided with all connection details prior to the event. We look forward to seeing you online soon!

Please visit the event website to learn more about the meeting, its agenda and speakers as well as to receive access to documents related to the event topic.
