Recruitment opens for “Horizon Europe 2027: Matchmaking Event for AI, Data and Digital Infrastructure”

News

PolSCA has opened recruitment for participants from Poland for the international “Horizon Europe 2027: Matchmaking Event for AI, Data and Digital Infrastructure”, which will take place in Brussels on 12 November 2026. Ten places are available within the Polish allocation. The event is aimed at organisations preparing for the 2027 Horizon Europe calls in the field of AI, data and digital infrastructure under Cluster 4.

Its main objective is to connect potential partners and support the formation of future project consortia. We particularly invite researchers and research team leaders, representatives of research organisations, start-ups, SMEs, larger companies and technology users interested in one of the nine selected 2027 call topics.

Recruitment for participants from Poland

PolSCA is recruiting representatives of Polish organisations. We are looking for participants who will come to Brussels with a concrete offer for cooperation: a project idea, expertise relevant to a future consortium, a technological solution or a use case. We particularly encourage applications from individuals and organisations considering taking on the role of project coordinator.

Registration does not automatically guarantee participation. Applications will be subject to selection in order to bring together organisations with complementary profiles and genuine potential for future project cooperation.

The event is open exclusively to representatives of organisations based in the countries represented by the co-organisers: Poland, Latvia, Spain, France, Denmark and Belgium.

PolSCA Office manages registration exclusively for representatives of organisations based in Poland.

What can participants expect in Brussels?

Each selected participant will have the opportunity to present their organisation, expertise or project idea in a 3-minute pitch. The main part of the matchmaking will consist of pre-arranged bilateral meetings with potential partners. Each participant will be able to take part in up to nine such meetings.

Ahead of the event, selected participants will receive access to a matchmaking platform where they will be able to create their profile, explore the offers of other participants and arrange meetings. The programme will also include contributions from representatives of the European Commission and practical guidance from National Contact Point experts on preparing for selected calls.

Nine call topics

The matchmaking will focus on nine selected call topics under Horizon Europe Cluster 4. These will cover, among others, decentralised and sustainable data processing for AI, improving the energy efficiency of AI processing in data centres, the development of European frontier AI solutions, the use of AI and robotics in industry, human-AI collaboration, photonics, Telco Edge Cloud infrastructure and hardware solutions for virtual worlds.

The full list of topics, including the call identifiers, as well as the preliminary agenda, is available on the event page
