Information Event on hydrogen with and for Visegrad four contries. Searching for syngergies.

February 8, 2022 14:00 17:00

On behalf of the four Brussels based research offices of the V4 countries, i.e. National Research, Development and Innovation Office of Hungary (NRDIO), Czech Liaison Office for Education and Research (CZELO), Polish Science Contact Agency (PolSCA) and Slovak Liaison Office for Research and Development (SLORD) we cordially invite you to participate in an online information event on hydrogen research for a wide stakeholder community in their countries. The event is organized under the Hungarian presidency of the Visegrad Group.

Hydrogen is envisaged to play an important role in the energy transition and will help European economies to reach the ambitious CO2 reduction targets in the coming years. Hydrogen research and innovation has also become a priority in the Visegrad 4 countries – hydrogen strategies are being developed, hydrogen  associations  are  being established.

The objective of the information event is twofold:

  • European hydrogen related initiatives, programmes  and  partnerships  will  be presented to interested stakeholders from the V4 countries, representing policy, research as well as industry;
  • The V4 countries will  also  shortly present the  latest  developments in their  countries to the main European actors.

This two-way communication will allow the participants to mutually inform each  other about national and European programmes, to have a clearer picture about the broad landscape on hydrogen research and innovation, to define synergies and possible fields for future cooperation.

The event will serve as a stepping stone for  future  communication  and  cooperation among participants from Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. Participants from other countries are also welcome to join.

The detailed agenda is available HERE.

Please register for the meeting using the following REGISTRATION FORM. Registration is open until 7 February, 10.00 a.m. The link for the event will be sent to registered participants one day before the event starts (e.g. 7 February, 14.00).
