News

The call for participants for the next – already fifteenth – edition of the ‘V4 Training for Research Project Managers’ has started again! We invite research managers working in the project departments of universities, scientific and research institutes responsible for acquisition, management and reporting to Brussels (11, 12 and 13 March). Applications are being accepted until 10 January 2024!

We are launching another recruitment drive for our flagship training course ‘V4 Training for Research Project Managers’, which will be held in Brussels on 11, 12 and 13 March. As before, we are organising it in cooperation with the Czech Liaison Office for Education and Science (CZELO), the National Research, Development and Innovation Office in Hungary (NRDIO) and the Slovak Liaison Office for Research and Development (SLORD).

The training is aimed at experienced research managers working in project departments (mainly international: H2020 and Horizon Europe) at universities, scientific and research institutes only (not companies) in departments responsible for acquisition, management and reporting. The training is not intended for academics.

Its main objective is to enhance the knowledge, and at the same time the relevance of the activities, of the employees in the project departments, which in turn will contribute to increasing Polish participation in the Horizon Europe framework programme.

The V4 Training programme usually features speeches by representatives of the European Commission, experts from liaison offices or universities. In addition, participants are encouraged to exchange experiences during group work and networking meetings.

To apply, please complete the form below by 10 January (by the end of the day) and send your CV to polsca@polsca.pan.pl. The PolSCA Office will invite 7 people to participate in the training (total number of participants is 35). You will be informed of your qualification by 26 January 2024. It is possible to qualify for the reserve list, from which we will in turn select participants for the autumn edition.

Participation in the “V4 Training for Research Project Managers” is free of charge, while travel and accommodation costs are the responsibility of the invited participants.
